Four removed from Spring Concert for intoxication

Public safety confirmed in an e-mail to The Torch that four people were removed from the Spring Concert on April 27 due to alcohol intoxication.

According to Vice President of Public Safety Thomas Lawrence, three University students and one guest at the concert were brought to the hospital for treatment.

    This is good acting by the public safety officers because the students could have been seriously hurt as well as other people in the crowd. That would have led no matter how small the injury might be to a lawsuit and the people who might have been hurt would have been absolutely justified in filing a claim.
