Edmondson to transfer
Freshman guard TyShwan Edmondson will transfer from the University’s Men’s basketball program following the school’s spring semester, according to head coach Norm Roberts.
“We wish TyShwan the best in the future,” Roberts said in a press release from redstormsports.com. “He leaves our University in good academic standing.”
Roberts did not announce which school Edmondson plans to tranfser to.
Edmondson appeared in 26 games for the Red Storm in 2008-09, averaging 1.7 points and 1.0 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game. He and fellow freshman Quincy Roberts helped fill the point guard void left when sophomore Malik Boothe underwent thumb surgery in January.
