Bio Honor Society to host dance fundraiser for Hayden Nichols
Hayden Nichols fell four stories from an apartment balcony after the Red Storm Tip-Off on October 25th.
The Biology Honor Society will be hosting a fundraising dance on Friday in an effort to help Hayden Nichols, a St. John’s student who was seriously injured last semester.
The Hayden Nichols Fundraiser Dance will feature live entertainment including a DJ, belly dancers and a performance by the Improv Club.
Local venues and restaurants including Qdoba, Bagel Oasis, Regina’s Pizza and Tango Steakhouse donated food for the event. Businesses including Kaplan, Allstate, Midtown Bookkeeping and the Barlian Corporation donated items to be raffled off, such as gift certificates and gift baskets. All proceeds will go directly to Nichols.
The event will be held in Marillac Terrace from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets are $7 at the door.
