Lambertson leads

For the third week in row, the lady’s golf team was led by junior, Brittany Lambertson, helping give the Red Storm a sixth place finish at the Yale Intercollegiate in New Haven, Connecticut on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The top two teams for the second week in a row were Princeton University and Harvard University, finishing first and second.

Lambertson had a strong finish, shooting just three over par (73) on Sunday giving her a tenth place tie and a total of 155 for the weekend. She was nine shots shy of the leader, Annika Welander, who also finished first at last weekends Princeton Invitational. With her 10th-place finish, Lambertson has continued her streak of placing in the top 10 of all her tournaments this fall.

Renee Cloutier had another strong week finishing 21st with a 159 (83-76), just four strokes shy of Lambertson. Rounding out the Red Storm’s performance was Samantha Tejada and Ashley Szewczuk who shot 167 and 170 for the weekend.
