Spring beauty must-haves

Warm weather is here, so it’s finally time to put away the nude and dark colors because spring means lots of soft
pastels and bright neons. The frosty, icy colors and the snow globes of the
MAC Glitter and Ice collection, to the wicked and dark colors of the NARS
Holiday collections ran the winter but spring promises more. This season, expect many exciting collections with bright,
playful colors and collections over which you might just drool.
This spring, Dior Addict is going
“extreme” with a mixture of nine bold and vibrant lipstick shades and four
luminous nail polishes. In addition to the Dior Addict Extreme collection, chances of you falling heads-over-heels for their Garden Party collection will be
high. The collection consists of rose-embossed eye shadows and bright pink
lip glosses that will also come in a woven pattern clutch.
The collection is homage to Christian Dior’s garden, which he designed with his mother and served as an inspiration
to his eminent fragrances and shows.
Milani’s spring 2012 collection is
full of à corps perdu, impressive, new products that are already receiving
praiseworthy feebacks for the brand.
Beauty enthusiasts are raving about the rimmed illuminating face powder that comes in three shades, all mixed with
delightful colors. Also receiving positive
reviews are the three new baked marble
eye shadows, especially the Green
Fortune shade. The shade looks like
your average green paint, splattered with
different other colors.
MAC Cosmetics enthusiasts can expect a bundle of new collections this spring with their
ever-growing limited edition collections,
including one permanent collection.
The Chenman Love and Water
Collection is one of the collections with wearable colors that includes mainly pink and blue shades! The pretty
mineralized eyeshadows are each formed in the shape of a Yin Yang symbol
into two shades, with a blended shade in
each. The lipglosses and lipsticks come in two of the same shades; the Force of
Love shade, a vivid honeysuckle pink,
has been popular among MAC fans
because it blends well with most
skin tones.
Kate Moss for Rimmel London collection, the London Lipstick
Collection by Kate, has five shades
ranging from a signature red to a vampy
plum color, and are infused with
Vitamins C and E and the unique
Black Diamond Pigment Complex.
Estee Lauder will launch two “Mad Men” collections, one this spring
during the Season Five premiere this month and the other, during the
premiere of Season Six in 2013.
The first set will include a compact blush and lipstick decorated with gold
packaging. The gold packaging of the collection is inspired by the
vintage designs of the Estee Lauder
‘60s collections. The rosy blush and the cherry red lipstick are to capture the
iconic image of the era.
Perhaps the fiercest collection that will leave you astonished is
Illamasqua’s Human Fundamentalism
collection.
The collection, which is an “explosion of your alter ego,” encompasses colors you would never dare to wear; white liquid liner, bright purple
lipgloss, bright jade nail polish, and
yellow eyeshadow! The delirious
colors all speak for the collection and it’s no surprise coming from
Illamasqua, which is known for being
singularly opposite, unique and
different from most makeup brands.
