The St. John’s women’s tennis team found themselves victorious against LIU Brooklyn with a 6-1 win on Feb. 14th which marked their third consecutive win to improve to 4-1 overall in the season. A win that also established their third consecutive win over the Blackbirds of LIU Brooklyn within the course of the past five seasons.

With her fourth singles win of the season, freshman Anna Morozova defeated Marine Dans of LIU by clinching victories at 6-1 and 6-2 at third singles. In the bottom half of the match, seniors Yanita Arnaudova and Diamond Adams deemed victorious as well amidst singles play to successfully finish up the match for St. John’s and ultimately collect the win.
