A St. John’s student was allegedly raped in her dorm room Thursday, according to a University press release.
The alleged assailant is not a student at St. John’s.
The victim told police that she had invited three men to her room where she had consensual sex with her date, according to the New York Post. The young woman fell asleep and was awakened by one of the other men forcing her into a sexual act. After she began screaming, the three men fled the room.
The NYPD is currently investigating the incident.
The University is in full cooperation with the police, but is not releasing any further information at this time.
