Storm beats Seton Hall

St. John’s 3, Seton Hall 1

The team’s aggressive play started early, with goals on their first two shots, before the clock could even manage to reach the six minute mark. Junior Susan Byrne connected with freshman Vaila Barsley to get the Storm on the board at 5:15, and senior Natasha Lee put the team up for good just 30 seconds later, knocking in a pass from fellow forward Krystle Jalalian.

The final Storm goal was scored in the 28th minute by Amanda Pasciolla, her second career goal following the game winner at Providence the previous Sunday.

That goal put the Johnnies up 3-0, rendering Seton Hall’s only score, a free kick in the closing minutes of the first half, obsolete.
