Double success

Senior Alison Adamski and sophomore Nataly Tumsevica proved to be a vicious tennis tag team in the first two rounds of doubles action at the ITA Regional Championship in Hanover, NH.

The first round saw Adamski and Tumsevica cruise to an 8-4 victory against Erin Katims and Cori Lefowith of Boston University. They continued to dominate in the second round, beating Pacaline Cette and Alica Chen of the University of Maryland Baltimore County 8-3.

The two will now face the third-seeded doubles team of Marianne Baker and Eleanor Peters from the University of Maryland on Sunday morning, Oct. 22.

Tumsevica will also go out on her own as she begins singles tournament play. Tumsevica received a first round bye and will now face 11th ranked Yulia Rivelis of the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon.
