Big East Schedule Released
The 2012/13 BIG EAST men’s basketball schedule was released today.
While every BIG EAST game will be national televised this season, the St. John’s men’s basketball team will feature in a number of marquee games on premier sports networks. The Red Storm can be seen on one of ESPN’s family of networks seven times this season, while also being featured in a 4 P.M. match-up against Georgetown on CBS.

Wednesday, Jan. 2 – at Villanova – 8 P.M.- ESPNU
Saturday, Jan. 5 – at Cincinnati – 4 P.M. – ESPNU
Wednesday, Jan. 9 – vs. Rutgers – 7 P.M. – BIG EAST Network
Saturday, Jan. 12 – vs. Georgetown – 11 A.M. – ESPN2
Tuesday, Jan. 15 – vs. Notre Dame – 7 P.M. – ESPN2
Saturday Jan. 19 – at DePaul – 5 P.M./7 P.M. – BIG EAST Network
Wednesday, Jan. 23 – at Rutgers – 7 P.M. – BIG EAST Network

Mitch likes Cristiano Ronaldo. Other than that, he’s been a great Sports Editor the past year. Mitch came in as the biggest question mark, with only half a year of experience as a staff writer and fresh from a semester abroad where he picked up weird fashion trends like scarves in the summer. He quickly answered any questions about whether he was up to the task, improving the sports section in every facet, while adding a unique voice in his columns. Now, as managing editor, I’m sure he’ll bring that same perspective and quality to the paper as a whole.
