To the Editor: Re: “The Green Apple”

I found your coverage (Green Apple, 8/29) of St. John’s participation in the consortium of NYC universities moving to contribute to aligning with global sustainability to be excellent. I hope you follow this up with articles clarifying specifically how campus community members can join in robustly on campus, at home, in their communities and workplaces. I exhort SJU to create curricula and research focused on greening. Watch out in 2008 for my “Innovative Approaches to Global Sustainability” (Palgrave Macmillan) and “Global Sustainability Initiatives: New Models and New Approaches” (Information Age Publishing).
